Summer Sundays snugly
Sitting, silently, soporifically
Staring sibyllically.
Strolling, searching, sifting
Submerged stories swell
Shadows…
Sunbeams, symphonies,
Spreading skyward
Sweetly, soliciting smiles.

I used to hide beneath
The pain of being the first born
Silent
Self-loathing
Needing to be perfect.
Then came the water…
…oh crap, this is too morose;
…I’m being too verbose;
…no need to diagnose;
…Comment’s over – adios.

G is soothed and I am pleased
Not the least bit peeved,
Deceived, aggrieved.
Because it is G.

By the 27th time I read this I found myself floating across my office as the warmth of the space heater under my desk enveloped me like a soft cozy fuzzy blanket you get at Target on clearance after the holidays. I see clearly now that rain is gone.I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.
If I had a dream, it would be this. Or maybe I’m dreaming now, I can no longer tell. I feel awash in your light, like the first time I found that you didn’t need LinkedIn to actually find candidates. My eyes were forever opened.
If I read no other thing in my life, I will still feel complete. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

When the sky is yellow and the sun is blue, when both the dreams and nightmares seem true, when I see what a long strange trip it has been.
When gone are are the days I stopped to decide where I should go and I just ride
When we have trails of troubles and roads of battles, when we need paths of Victory
When Rodney Dangerfield becomes less comedian and more philospopher
When fear is clear in a handful of dust and satisfaction cannot be gotten
When you take the good, take the bad, and take them all and there you have the Facts of Life
When your lost in the rain in Juarez and it is Easter Time, too
When you put on airs even when your on Rue Morgue Avenue
When you don’t even know what price you gotta pay for going through these things Twice
When you’re stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues again
When she takes your voice and leaves you howling at the moon
When you take responsibility for what you can and not for things you cannot control
When the Sun is going to shine on your Backdoor someday
When the world don’t move to the beat of just one Drum
When you plagiarize a bunch of songs, 80s theme music, email templates and poets
When the joke was on me as there was no even there to bluff

And Boolean strings produce hits that are silly
I open up Facebook or peer at my blog

Simply searching for all these words finds the video game “Sunless Sea.” About the game:
“LOSE YOUR MIND. EAT YOUR CREW. DIE.
Take the helm of your steamship and set sail for the unknown! Sunless Sea is a game of discovery, loneliness and frequent death, set in the award-winning Victorian Gothic universe of Fallen London.
If the giant crabs, sentient icebergs and swarms of bats don’t get you, madness and cannibalism certainly will. But that old black ocean beckons, and there’s loot for the brave souls who dare to sail her.
Betray your crew, sell your soul to a Devil, marry your sweetheart. Survive long enough and you’ll achieve your life’s ambition.
You will die, but your legacy will live on…”
Yeah, that’s pretty much everything about sourcing!!!
